Energy Fx. I didnt like to compare my bike to a girl or a boy. As far as i was concerned, they had there own soul. unlike humans there where not corupted... they had the most purest soul, like that of my bruno. About my friend who lived with me for 4 years, who spent time with me whereever I went. Who stood beside me even in the worst of climate and during worst of family situations. Even came with me when I left home. It was big in size like me... but had a small heart. just 110cc. But never let me down in the cc. We stayed together during the ride and during the time we lay on the road. Every time when my bike was away from me... I feel down untill i got my hands on the throtle which helps me overtake the reality of life. I always used to run away from life, and my bike used to help me with that... A true friend is one who makes you understand the real essence of life. But since my bike was just like me... it never had the heart to show me the reality of life....it feared how i would take it. When ever my bike tried to show me the REALITY.... the next thing that would happen reflected the unfriendly person that I am. We used to get in accident. Once I didnt know... i was speeding with my energy... and all of sudden I felt like showing my strength on the front brakes as I had no back brake... just like me... my bike was not an responsible bike no brakes... I rammed the front brakes .... for the first time when I fell... I wasnt afraid, I wasnt in the shock. I could see my bike leaving me .... I heard a loud thud.... i couldnt get what the thud sound was... I got up. The first thing I did was that I went near my bike who was laying motionless... all of sudden ... my bike was revolving around me motionless... My head was spining... There were people asking me..."are you alright"....I said ok. My head was bleeding..... After i regained my senses... I went straight to my bike and helped my bike get back to its legs...One of my friend among the crowd asked me to go with him. I looked at my bike. It was silent. I was afraid .... it was very silent from it's side... I was afraid.... was the silence .... the silence of death or silence of guilt... or silence of dismay. I couldnt see his face.... his head was bend away from ... I went to my frd place.... after some medical treat ment... I was shocked to see my wound. It was just a speck.... a very small speck compared to my bike.My bike saved me. AFter the treatement... I went down to start my bike.... For the first time I had doubt about my bike. For some reason... I was having the thought that my bike was dead. I dont know whether I prayed or not... all I know was that My mind was silent... silent like the silence of death. But Just like the way my bike saved me... growled with a roar. I could faces looking at me... I always wanted to ride against the flow of life... But this time my bike did it for me. He didnt let me down..... After this incident I never tested my bike's life. With every km I did on my bike went away the time I spend with my bike. Now all I have a long book of pages of kilometers I spent with my bike. Before he left he showed me how life is all "compramising". The days were the same with asking the money from parents... for feeding my bike. It was a beautiful morning.... was planing to spent time with my bike... I dressed up in my same old cloths. I was rushing down the stairs. A person from whom I got myself stood in front of me. He asked me...."we dont like to fund for two bikes..." I was silent... for this I could say nothing... He asked me "it is better to sell it". I dont know why but this time I didnt argue. I was silent. The beautiful morning turned to a very silent one with just the sound of my bike. He ran very smoothy that day. The agony of going to lose him melted away with the time I spent. I forgot all about it. i thought it was just another descision that my father asked me to take. But I never thought....It was 9:30am, it was a weekend... I saw a guy who was speaking to my father... and he was throwing looks at my bike... just like other bikers I too enjoyed the magic of eyes falling. but this time I wasn't happy... I knew this was the guy who came to pluck him away from me. The night before... I was sitting in the vereandha... I could see my bike looking at me.... It was silent... never asking me the question I feared the most"WHY".
The guy asked me about my bike which usually I was very happy to narrate... but this time I could say nothing... My bike's face flashed through my mind. The deal was made, he gave me the money... i couldnt take it... i asked my father to take it... but my father refused. I had to take it. He asked me to take the key and give it him... it was ritual in the dealing of automotive selling... it was the way of giving the one which we loved most with opened heart. My heart wasnt opened at all. That guy strugled to pump life to my bike. Even beind the sorrow, a smile creeped up.... None can replace me for my bike. No one can understand my bike like me. I was forced to give some tips... actually those werent the tips... i was saying yes to silent question my bike asked me " its time, its time to understand life, understand the meaning of COMPROMISE ". With a thunderous roar but silent....he came back to life. After this he didnt look at me. That guy rode him up the slope. All i could do was watch my friend leave. My father said" look at the ease with which he took the bike". I was frustereed. I said" entay kaiyil odigiya polay varay aruday kayilum odingila?". Along with these words of determination, my eyes fllled up. ... the days went by a with a silence. I missed my bike. I knew noone can tame my bike.... and it so happened my father said" he called and he said "sir please take this bike , I dont need the cash"". this was what the guy who took my bike said to my father. My father asked me to talk to that guy of how to tame my precious friend. I called him up... I knew after I say the ways of my bike, my friend would be lost. It will have the soul of another. With a heavy heart I had to tell him. My father seeing my face asked me whether I want my bike back. I was silent and a word broke my silece. I said "No". My father wondered... why. But the no was that of person who learned a lesson from his bike. My bike taught me the meaing of "COMPROMISE"... But still now... I miss you my friend. wherever you are ride safe... you be safe...
